Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the HeyDunbar application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). You can review Apple's EULA at:

Description of Service

HeyDunbar is a relationship intelligence application that helps you maintain meaningful connections with the people in your life. The App allows you to:

  • Store notes and memories about your contacts
  • Track relationship health through automated scoring
  • Receive reminders to stay in touch with important people
  • Use voice and photo capture to add information

User Accounts and Subscriptions

Free Tier: Basic features are available for free with limitations on the number of contacts and AI features.

Premium Subscription: Additional features are available through a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and management are handled through Apple's App Store.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App to store or transmit harmful or malicious content
  • Be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any data stored in the App

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by HeyDunbar and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeyDunbar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
